I have come across a lot of services who claim they submit to 75,000 or 300,000 search engines. I need something concrete to decide against it?
The basic catch here is to collect email addresses for use in unsolicited email or Spam. Once you're submitted to these lists, the Spam will never stop. What such services actually do is submit your website to FFA ("Free For All"). The primary purpose of MANY of the FFA link boards is to do nothing more than collect emails addresses for spam and other mails.
